i like tolbert alot but i dont see this stuff about him taking over for lamb...if lamb does not produce, it will be buscher from the minors coming up to take over.....tolbert is a rookie utility guy and will stay that, at least for this season- beyond that i dont know...his value is to be able to play ss,3b,2b and switch hit...ideally you want some power at 3b..thats more to buscher than tolbert

Carlos G

Very interesting stats!!Even though it's a small sample it shows a interesting pattern developing.

How many wins can a "washed up" soft tossing veteran win on a weak hitting team?

Yes I realise we are third in team batiing average but we don't score against quality pitching.

I do like Hernandez but think it's unrealistic to think he can win more than 15.....even with the hot start......something tells me his second time through the American League after the all-star break it going to be ugly.

Everett was rated at the top of baseball for shortstops several years in a row. Then he broke his leg. And now he has shoulder issues. I think he hasn't come all the way back from either injury because he looks like the second coming of Juan Castro at this point.

I don't know why everyone was so high on Everett and so down on Punto. From what I have seen I think Punto is fielding better than Everett
