I assume you mean Ellsbury is playing RF not LF?
Come on Perkins… Tonight is the night you establish to Gardy that you are a Twin now and forever! BEAT THE SOX.
Nothing in baseball is more important to me than a team beating the Red Sox. You people think I’m hard on Vavra… you should see the comments I direct at the Red Sox. I HATE THAT TEAM for what they did to Jim Rice, and I will never forgive them for that. Then they did the same thing to Boggs, Clemens, Burks, and before that they’d done the same thing with Fred Lynn and Carlton Fisk. The team has a history of racism, and a lack of class. I know it’s a different ownership group now, but when it comes to the Red Sox all I can think of is Bucky Dent and Aaron Boone and I have a big smile on my face.
Come on home team… make this a blow out. I want to see Dice K diced, chopped, and dropped in the 1st inning tonight!
Daisuke Matsuzaka walks a lot of batters i think he walked 8 tiggers hitters if we stay paycent and get some hits we should get to them early
One more injury, and we are going to see Cuddyer play some second base!
Lets hope Perkins doesn’t try to do too much today! This is a tough first start mentally more than physically.
Hope we take some walks because if we swing at all DK’s crap it’s going to be a long game.
Perkins has a legit shot to be a GOOD pitcher so I hope he’s ready.
Nechek didn’t have his good stuff this year anyway….in a way we’re better without him now….if crain continues to improve.
We are definitely not better without Neshek. Bass and Korecky will be counted on heavily if/when the starters fall apart after 4 or 5 innings.
I wish Adam Everett would get a strained hamstring.
And by strained hamstring, I of course mean a career ending injury.
Keep it classy, Eric. Wow.
eric..its only a true moron that would say crap like that…please just go away and dont come back…its not cool, its not funny, its just as lame as you are, and you wont be missed by anyone- you just dont wish bad things on anyone eric, not even on you..just go find somewhere else to be the person you are……
all the punto haters should be happy..damn anyhow…i read also in the boston paper that dice k or whatever is on a 110 pitch count, so i hope our hitters can be very patient and take some walks and lets get into their bullpen, and they can be had….lets hope the twins gained some real confidence from last nites game..that was a beauty….good luck to perkins, i hope he just stays cool and lets his defense help him….big game for him
BC,
you got the makings of a Yankee fan… lol …
