Josephine Marcotty, the Strib’s longtime medical reporter and my neighbor in the next cube, starts her Bodytalk blog today.

I’m flagging it not just because she’s a fab writer, or because she regularly guilts me into going to spinning class, but because I think Cribsheet regulars might find some of the topics of interest. And as the blog takes off, I may appear there occasionally in my other persona as healthcare reporter.

Today’s post is on the rising number of STD cases in Minnesota, partly because pediatricians and family doctors are shying away from asking the right questions of patients. And not surprisingly, teenagers are loathe to tell their doctors they’re sexually active.
