Borton needs to keep HER head in the game if she wants to contend. The timeout called with 4 seconds left in OT was perhaps the most boneheaded coaching decision I'd ever seen. And I was mystified by her substituting in the overtime, too. Harper was having a terrible game, yet Borton kept putting her in the game. Very odd.

The Gophers can contend, if they can take a team to OT when about 1/2 the team didn't show up then they can push anyone...A lot will depend on if the coaches can help the young players get through bad games and inspire them to keep their chins up. It will also depend on coaches making good decisions. Hopefully the leaders of this team can encourage their teammates to respond with good game @ wisconsin on Monday (luckily they have an extra day to REST).
