Verdell Jones III’s Choices
Posted on May 3rd, 2008 – 7:57 PMBy Myron Medcalf
A day after Verdell Jones III canceled a trip to Arizona late last night, his father assured me that although he wants to play in the Midwest, he includes Indiana, Minnesota and Kentucky as schools in that region.
Through a text-message dialogue, he assured me that Kentucky was definitely in the mix for Jones’ services. But I think he’ll definitely play for the Gophers next season, based on my discussions with him this week.
But, I also thought that Krys Faber would be playing next to Ralph Sampson III next season.

Unfortunately, sometimes, money comes into these things.
You lost me on that one Loon. Jones supposedly has offers from Minnesota and Indiana. Indiana has the look of a snakepit at the moment. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
Certainly not the Gophers (especially in football), but sometimes, little brown paper bags full of unmarked, used, non consecutive, dollar bills, twenties, etc. can become involved in recruiting players.
Loon you are stuck in the ’70s. Now a days its off-shore accounts in the Grand Caymans.
“Loon you are stuck in the ’70s.”

More like permanently stuck on stupid.
There is a reason the guy goes by “Loon”. Racist pigeon fan is what he is.
Feeling that need for a bit of hate again today? Glad to help you guys out.

So if he picks Minnesota, Tubby paid him off. Look into this Myron…time for your Pulitzer courtesy of Loon.
Looks like Indiana upped the ante.
