According to a Gophers official who confirmed that Jones called Gophers coaches recently to tell them that he’d chosen Indiana over Minnesota.

Well that’s (maybe) too bad. We won’t know for sure for a couple of years most likely.
I’m sure his decision was based more on potential playing time right away more than anything else. That Hoosier team is going to be in trouble and he’ll get a chance to play a ton from the get go. The Gophers, on the other hand, will have a strong roster next year and he may or not be able to earn much PT.
Yeah, right, like I’m gonna qualify.
