Are you going to watch live on VH1 Classic? Do you think that cable channel had anything to do with the artists chosen to give the induction speeches?

 What do you think of Justin Timberlake inducting Madonna? Elton John, an obvious choice, has a concert elsewhere tonight. I might have gone with Christina Aguilera. Who do you think should have inducted Madonna?

And how bout John Mellencamp? Billy Joel. What’s up with that? A New Yawker inducting Mr. Heartland Rock. What do they have in common: they’re both short, feisty and married blonde models who were taller than they were. And their music is derivative.

Springsteen has a concert tonight. (And, if he didn’t, do you think he would have finally given his stamp of approval to Mellencamp?) Where’s Bob Seger? Who do you think should have inducted the Coug?
