Bill Parcells, thankfully, is nothing like our grandmother

Perhaps the most humorous bit to come out of the Parcells retirement story was this quote. It was from a Cowboys player. We want you to read it, then take half a guess at who said it: “I still think he is a great guy. But he is like my grandmother. You love the person, but they are stuck in their old-school ways.” The same player also said: “Sometimes change is good.” Give up? He wears No. 81, is fond of push-ups in the driveway and may or may not have tried to kill himself this year. You can read more here.

Bill Parcells was a great coach who knew how to modivate (most) players.

I wonder if Bill Parcells has trouble learning how to turn off his cell phone, like my grandmother.

I can just imagine him… first he yells sarcastically at the phone… then he belittles the phone publicly… and then he remembers that, without Bill Belichick, he has no idea what to do with the phone.

I actually I enjoyed T.O. being down here in North Texas. I’m not a fan of his. But it was amusing watching the media go into orbit on every dropped pass and then give him little credit for every TD he caught. Parcells just needed to pick up his belongings and bolt the joint.

By the way, Randball, Parcells is going to be at the Cowboys offices for the rest of the week.

Gee. Aren’t we lucky.

As Moss proved, a great personality is nice, but give me speed, hands and vertical anytime. Nobody has to like these guys. I like my neighbor but I just tell him to go long then fake it to him when we play in the street.
