18_1.jpgIf you’re more interested in commemorating last night’s Super Bowl loss than last night’s Super Bowl victory, boy do we have a shirt for you. (Thanks, Stensation).

*In case you missed it, part I: The OT goal in the NoDak/Gophers game Friday night was one of the best we’ve ever seen, regardless of the team for which you root. Please do check it out if you haven’t already.

*In case you missed it, part II: You stay classy, Dave Hakstol. (Warning: Contains obscene gesture and the ND coach’s smoldering good looks).

*Sassbottom gets his 20 bucks back (thanks to Fasolamatt and Sassbottom).

*And finally, a funny story from Roughkat about being at the mall with his special lady friend Saturday: We were in Foot Locker or some such sports store. She saw a Wolves jersey with #1 on it and thought the name was a joke about McHale.  I had to laugh pretty hard at that. Good times.

Nice looking t-shirt !! but before anyone gets all over the Pats, it’s important to remember there are 31 other teams (one even in a garish purple) that would love to have that record.

Roughkat

That is a pretty darn good story, if only the rest of us were as ditzy(read geniuses) so that we could have thought of that first.

Damn the blondes of the world. They are always pointing out the obvious that the rest of us deep thinkers don’t realize.

jama - I know. I’m a lucky guy. This was the same person that suggested that Tom Brady wears such a large parka during cold games because of his ginormous [redacted].

P3 - I dont think that any of the other 31 teams that are not the New York Giants want that record because it does not come with a Vince Lombardi trophy. (And that includes the team in the garish purple). While 18-1 is a great record…it don’t mean [redacted] without a trophy to show for it.

I guess I better purchase a parka if those are the requirements!

Hakstol will have the time to take a class on being classy as he will be sitting out the Sioux’s next two games according to the GF Herald. The No Dak AD suspended him before the WCHA could get thier hands on him…smart move.

Dirk “jama” Diggler

Tim, though they lost their last game they are still a great team, and I think most any team (yes, incl the one sporting Prince’s most unmanly purple) would have loved not only to have a winning streak like the Patriots, team personnel like the Patriots (would you trade Action Jackson for Brady Hmmmmm) and most teams would have loved just to be in the Big Game like this considering most players, even good players, will never make it this far in their careers. So, give the Pats credit. They are a great team. The Giants were just better this game. Nothing to add….

Just don’t let the Mrs. know that I am in the “adult film” industry. I don’t think she would be very pleased.

And Dirk Diggler ain’t got [redacted] on me!!!

I normally don’t admit to this stuff, but neither Brady and Dirk have a thing on me. I once had a date tell me she liked my belt. I wasn’t wearing one…..

Dave Spehar — remember him!? — had a smack-it-out-of-thin-air goal against Colorado College that looked a lot like this. The only difference was that he first took a shot off a break that sailed high, bounced off the glass and straight back over the goalie’s head. He poked in the deflection. So to speak.

Seems the Gophers have had a lot of amazing-goal games over the years. The scoop over DeBus’ shoulder comes to mind. And Okposo’s between-the-legs goal last year.

I know this is a really snide remark but…

Now that it’s apparent that NE needs a running game, why don’t the Vikes just go ahead and trade Adrian Peterson to the Pats for draft picks and get it over with? (still feeling bitter about KG and Johan)

BayArea, you gotta believe that if Peterson had a vote he’d be a Foxboro man next year…

I wish I knew how to place this blog into the correct place but here it goes. Now is the time for Vikings fans to start making there voice heard and demand that mistakes of past be made right. I am talking about bringing our boy back home. No 84, Randy Moss. Without a doubt, within the past decade the Minnesota Vikings organization has drafted two of the most dynamic, exciting, and god gifted players at there positions in No 84. and Adrian Peterson. We need to bring Randy Moss back so he can finish what he started in 98′ “Super Bowl baby.” Randy still has plenty in the tank and with the vikings able to hand it off to “All Day” and “All Night” it wouldn’t matter who was quaterback. Heck, It could be me and the talent around would make it look like I deserved a contract extension.
