A non-partisan cheer for Republican party

From the AP:
The NFL is considering starting its Thursday night season opener an hour-and-a-half earlier to avoid clashing with the Republican National Convention.
The game, in which the Super Bowl-champion New York Giants will be the home team, now is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. EDT on Sept. 4 and will be televised by NBC. League spokesman Greg Aiello said Wednesday that the NFL is talking with the network about changing the game’s starting time to 7 p.m.
Foot-ball? Starting? 90 minutes earlier? Sure.

When asked about the game that’s taking place at the same time as the Democratic National Convention, the NFL responded, “If they want coverage they can change their schedule, this game has been scheduled for months!”
They better not. NBC has enough episodes of 30 Rock and The Office to catch up on with the writters strike screwing everything up.
If it’s Deal or No Deal and the Apprentice that gets shoved over, then I say go ahead.
Stupid [redacted] left wing politics screwing things up again…
Isn’t that right wing politics?
That’s good, because I heard Eli Manning is a GOP delegate from NY. This way, he can attend the convention.
jama: Joker was never good with hoc-key terminology…
NBC really has nothing to worry about. Even if they cheese off the Republicans, the GOP will respond by invading VH-1.
Is there a difference between 30 Rock and the Democratic National Convention?
Does this mean that we are going to see George W. in Daisy Dukes singing the NFL intro?

30 Rock is funny on purpose.
Karch Kiraly.
6pm CT start = people who come home during the last hour of Barreiro miss kickoff.
