Isn’t that what all those athletes have posses for? They look through the papers and the internet, and cut out or print fawning praise to show it to the athlete. The criticism doesn’t get through the filter. I’m not sure what they do about the police blotters.

OFF-TOPIC: This weather, it sucks.

ON-TOPIC:

1. My best guess is that athletes care more about what other people are saying about them than they let on. It’s human nature.

1a. The fact that Robert Smith liked MST3K reflects well upon him.

2. “Mr. Jaric, have you heard about America’s rich tradition of ‘wife swapping?’”

3. Somebody else handle the movie quotes, I have to entertain my kids for awhile.
