It’s hard to believe he wasn’t heckling Phil Fulmer

fulmer.JPGFrom the Chattanoogan.com (bold and use of Redacted is ours, as usual):

A Signal Mountain man is facing an obscenity charge after displaying a sign on his car.

A sheriff’s deputy who made the arrest said Jeremy Boyd Eaker, 20, of 7717 Sawyer Pike, had a sign reading: “[Redact] you, Fulmer.”

It was on his car parked in his driveway.

The county officer who made the arrest said the sign “was visible to anyone passing by regardless of their age.”

The sign apparently does not refer to the Tennessee football coach, but to a Signal Mountain officer named Fulmer.

Eaker is due in General Sessions Court on May 28.

Just a coincidence, folks. Move along. Nothing to see here.

Rand, it must suck that Reusse conveniently “forgot” to mention you in his nostalgic look back at the last 40 years of sportswriting for the other guys and the Strib. What a thankless job you have, with all the in-depth sports and Matt Leinart photos and regurgitating links and all that… oh so thankless.

Oh yeah, and I guess some guy on the Twins hit for the cycle. Big whoop. Someone does that at least every 22 years for the team. Torii Hunter could hit for the cycle in his sleep - he just didn’t feel like it here.

Um, can you repeat the part of the stuff where you said all about the things?

+1 Rand

Can Rand be in consideration of a COW on his own blog?
