What am I supposed to wear next fall?

After the hoopla of Red Dress and much menswear, it was midafternoon and I hadn’t seen any women’s clothes that I could buy. Enter BCBG Max Azria. The show featured wearable dresses and separates. I especially loved how gowns were toughened up with puffers (above photo). As experts predicted, the silhouettes are coming closer to the body. While there’s still volume,

clothes are much tamer and seem more serious. In this photo, check out the charcoal tights (everywhere!) and cute hat. Practical. Keep in mind that I’m using the least blurry photos I have, not necessarily my favorite looks.

I like the slimmer silhouettes but not too sure about the puffs. Is there alot of metallics (as in fabrics) VS. last year?

I think metallics are here to stay. They’re basically neutrals now. They seem to shift from season to season (golds become sublter or brighter).
