Online auction: Look like America’s next Next Top Model

Cycle 8 premiered last night and featured a runway show, for which contestants self-styled themselves at the Goodwill. I must say, I was unimpressed with their outfits. That said, you can now
buy the non-winning ensembles in an online auction that benefits the Goodwill. Right now, the boring outfit Natasha (a.k.a mail-order bride) wore has the highest price tag. I kind of liked this Bohemian look that I think Renee wore (but I’m not sure). Bidding ends Monday night. You know you want it — it’s almost like owning a piece of history.

Too bad no one would actually be able to fit into anything. If the plus-size models are actually plus-size, then I must be gargantuan!
shruti, I have much vintage clothes, and I wear about a 8, but they are marked 14-16. (a size 8 was a size 14 back in the day?) interesting.
The designers have forced the sizes down so we feel better and buy more. Its sorta sublimial. I would rather buy a size small from Eileen Fisher, than a size 10 from DBuchman. But its all the the same…My fat is going nowhere. ya either fit or you don’t! And there is such a big debate about the demo model clothes. The fashion houses give the models a size 0, so the model agencies have to supply a size 0 model, and its all a big cycle.
