Need a last-minute gift? These silver earrings, by local designer Alissa Karges are just the trinket. At $14-$32, you can wear and/or give a pair of shiny earrings that Karges crafted from silver wire.

Luna Vinca (3344 Hennepin Av. S., Mpls, 612-823-6178) hosted a trunk show this weekend, but you can always find the jewelry at the store, where Karges is manager.

They are meditations on circles, ranging from simple to this more elaborate “Jennifer,” named after Jennifer Dick, the store’s owner.
