I had the difficult job of spending several hours at Nordstrom yesterday. There’s an interesting combination of Uggs and sandals. These shoes caught my eye.

Sure, it’s a little early and lot snowy to start thinking about showing so much toe, but there’s also something reassuring about knowing that there will eventually be an opportunity to wear them.

Anyway, these flat sandals ($195) are available in several colors, including black and gold in the massive Nordstrom shoe department at the Mall of America. The Tory Burch logo used to bug me, but lately, I’ve been very into it. It ’s very substantial as are the shoes. You can tell they’re well-made and would track a lot of style miles.
