Jack “he was robbed” Mackenroth is scheduled to attend two events for the upcoming Diva 2008.
Here’s the scoop on the “Jack attack” as I like to call it. This year’s Diva event will involve two pre-events. At the first one on February 8, there will be an auction and you’ll be able to bid on this package:

Jack Mackenroth -NYC Fashion Designer Jack Mackenroth, fresh off his appearance on Bravo TV’s Project Runway - Season 4, makes a video appearance at “Date for Diva,” before his arrival in the Twin Cities next month. Bid on a chance for four of you to sit at Jack’s VIP table on March 8th, and view the entire line of fashion at this year’s Club Diva -an event to raise money for HIV/AIDS- the hottest “Diva-Date” ticket in town!

Confused? Club Diva (on March 8th) is the working name for this year’s event and “Date for Diva” will be another pre-event.

Jack won’t be at the February 8 event when his future will be determined. I’m guessing he’ll be in New York City with me for the taping of the Project Runway finale that morning…. or so I’m hoping!

Here’s the deal on the “Date for Diva” event where you can bid on Jack:

Date for Diva, Friday Feb 8, at EPIC Nightclub (110 N. 5th St., Mpls). Doors open at 9 p.m. and the auction begins at 10 p.m..

I suspect for the Twin Cities, Jack will soon be the new black.
