Flipping for 3.1 Phillip Lim

Phillip Lim is one of fashion’s darlings of the moment. His line has made strides at high-end design in a mid price-range.

This collection is no exception, except that for the women who fell for his easy-to-wear fall 2007 line will find that the next collection will require a little more thought and lot more tailoring.

Here’s how he described it: “Silent volumes - the idea of a quick glance, without a word exchanged…and left with only thoughts to linger.”

Abstract, not? There were plenty of pretty pieces, like the “wheat boucle seam sweater coat; almond constellation double fan cocktail dress” (below( and the emerald wool crepe front tiered eyelash ribbon dress with poet sleeves (above). The hats were also divine.
