Am I the only one not totally loving “Lipstick Jungle?” I want to watch, but it’s hard even though I’m kinda buddies with the costume designer. The clothes are pretty fabulous.

The character of Victory Ford (could that sound more made up?) played by another, err, friend of mine, has the most playful sense of style, in my opinion. It makes sense–she does play a fashion designer.

Here’s a dress from last night’s episode. Layers of silk tulle that are elegant and so forgiving. Plus, it white but not at all bridal.
