Last night was the big Tim Gunn to-do at the Rosedale Herberger’s. So today’s inspiration is from Liz Claiborne, of which Gunn is chief creative officer.

These jackets are just what a wardrobe needs to transition into spring. Structured jackets are flattering, sensible for spring and, most importantly, seriously in style this year. The navy and white jacket ($159) and white jacket ($129) offer two versatile options. Gunn sang the praises of the white jacket’s shawl collar for its ability to broaden shoulders and balance out a broader bottom half.
