StylePointing at Washburn Prom: A shiny couple!

We featured Washburn’s prom in the paper today. We have some additional photos (all by Tom Wallace).

Nicholas Giancola, senior and Caroline Sable, senior (at Southwest High School)
His outfit: Tuxedo ($125 for rental) from MW Tux in Southdale.
Her outfit: Masquerade dress and clutch from J.C. Penney. Shoes from Charlotte Russe.
His extracurriculars: Football, wrestling, baseball, rugby, National Honor Society, Leadership Council and Student Council.
Her extracurriculars: Laker dance team and Victoria Dance Productions dance team (captain).
Status: Dating for one-and-a-half years.
Next year: She’s attending St. Paul College for massage therapy and he’ll be at Hamline University.
How he asked her to prom: “I drew a chalk outline at her house and wrote ‘I would die to go to prom with you.’”
What they usually do together: Watch t.v., especially “Everybody Loves Raymond,” “The King of Queens,” Animal Planet and Discovery Channel.
Her favorite dance song: “Nicky” Sable’s spin on Tony Basil’s “Micky.”
His favorite dance song: “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond

How cute are these two? And his favorite song? Adorable. All the kids featured look like they’re lovely people - inside and out. Nice to see.
